Porcelain Dental Veneers

Porcelain veneers fall into the category of cosmetic dentistry because they create a bright, white smile with beautifully aligned, shapely teeth. Even better, the translucent ceramic quality of today’s veneers provides a more natural look than what’s been available in the past.

What Are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-coloured materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their colour, shape, size, or length.

Veneers are routinely used to treat:
  • Discoloured teeth
  • Teeth that are chipped, broken or worn down
  • Teeth that are misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped
  • Teeth with gaps between them

E-Max Veneers

Crafted from high-strength porcelain and custom-made for the individual, Emax Veneers are thin-layered and bonded to the front surface of the teeth. This enhances both the function and appearance of teeth. Emax Veneers are well-known for their durability and stabilising effects, being fitted without the need for tooth etching as is the way with more traditional dental veneers.

How Many Teeth Should I Do?

Generally, most of the time you should do the number of teeth you show when you smile. This can range from 6 to 10 teeth. However, in certain instances just doing 1 to 4 teeth can also make a huge difference.

How Do I Care For My Veneers?

Brushing 2 times each day for 2 minutes, flossing daily, and wearing a night guard at night is a great ways to protect the veneers. Avoid eating very hard foods like almonds, or cracking shells with the front veneers.
